Delta Force 2 is a good ? but not great ? sneak 'em up sequel, but fails to trump its predecessor.
The manual does an adequate job in prepping the gamers to be a member of the coveted Delta Force, but it's a shame there is no tutorial in the game whatsoever.
One of the weakest links in the chain, unfortunately. I'm dumbfounded how a voxel game like Outcast can look so cool while in Delta Force II, it suffers greatly.
The sound effects in Delta Force II are quite good, especially the realistic weapon sounds for the varied arsenal. Voice-overs are also pretty good.
If you liked the first Delta Force or other similar sneak-em-up shooters, Delta Force II will not disappoint. Expect longer and arguably more difficult missions than its predecessor.
Lasting Appeal (8/10)
With close to forty-five solo missions (19 skirmish and roughly 25 spread across the two campaigns) plus the free multiplayer modes, there's plenty of gameplay here to sink your teeth into.
